Running with the Bats / Corriendo con los murciélagos

What happens to a young boy who finds himself in the midst of flying bats, swarming mosquitoes, and flickering fireflies while walking home alone after an evening baseball game with his friends? That’s what poet Chris Holaves answers in his suspenseful, bilingual children’s story, Running with the Bats / Corriendo con los murciélagos.

This story is beautifully told in narrative verse and is accurately translated into Spanish.
