North Suburban Library District, Loves Park, IL It is a fun, fast, action-packed adventure that reader will be able to relate to. I love the cadence and rhyming of the writing. This book is a special treat, especially when read aloud. I truly felt involved and became the main character when reading this book. Not just for boys, if you love baseball and bats that fly, this book will lead you on a whirlwind adventure. This book has it all, fast text that rhymes, texts in English and Spanish, illustrations that catch your attention and an exciting story about overcoming your fears. I really enjoyed the illustrations and thought they were a great complement to the story, like the story, whimsical and fun. |
